Sleeping Beauty [May. 10th, 2004|08:59 am]
[mood |sadsad]
[music |Richard Marx - Where Ever You Go]

Well I had to see my mum off at the airport this morning. So I had a nice breakfast with my brother n law while we waited to go pick up my mum and take her to the airport.

Mum got on the plane fine and now I get her place to myself to look after for 5 weeks yay! Because of all that though I didn't sleep very well. I kept waking up every 2 hours or so (stupid sunlight).

Work was boring, I walked around all night met a few nice people and walked a woman home late at night.

I miss Sarah *ponders the choices made in the past* *cries*

The Lords Day [May. 9th, 2004|08:13 am]
[mood |tiredtired]
[music |None]

Yay Sunday. Work last night was boring and I was so relieved to get home. I pretty much went straight to bed today and didn't get up till 5.45pm just in time for dinner I did a Live journal entry and sent and email to my friend Sarah mentioned earlier and started writing a letter to my Aunty over in England.

Then just for a change I went to work. Oh joy, Sundays are always quiet I knew it was going to be a long night :(

Anyway avid readers take care and I'll see you later.

One of those days. [May. 8th, 2004|07:07 pm]
[mood |sadsad]
[music |Bryan Adams - Please Forgive Me]

Well I got up today and about 4pm after going to bed at like 10.30am I was going to write a letter to my Aunty Barbara, but instead lay on the sofa watching M*A*S*H on DVD with my sister.

It was my sisters birthday today as well so we were all going out for dinner the whole family Grandparent and both parents too. We all went out to Strawberry Fair which was kinda nice, the food was pretty good, 2 of the waitress's were pretty good and dessert there was amazing.

After dinner I walked my mum back to her apartment after saying goodbye and goodnight to the rest of the family. We walked back and made the silly small talk as you do. When we got back to her place she told me that was thinking about not having anyway stay there while she was gone to save on power. I told her that i'll pay for the power while she's gone. So she said she'd think about it. So I might not be able to have my little holiday place of my own after all :( bummer..

So leaving there I started walking to work. I made a note of walking up Courtney Place past the Mini bar, It was a friend of mines going away party she is going to go and live in Melbourne.

As I was walking past she happened to sorta stumble out and came over and gave me a big hug and a peek on the cheek and dragged me into the bar where we kinda chatted, I said hello to a few mutual friends we had, we exchanged email addresses and I signed the book that was going round for her. I wish i could've stayed longer but I had to go to work.

As I reluctantly started off towards work again. It actually hit me, how much I liked this person. I knew I kinda did but she had a great personality and just seeing her smile once each time we saw each other was enough to make me smile for a day. I wish I didn't have to go to work and could've stayed there a little longer.
Oh well..

I got to work in a pretty shitty mood having to leave my friend behind. I was starting out my night on the trains which was ok by me at that stage i didn't really care anyway. I got to the station the first 2 trips were fine and then the guards changed and the guy on the trains was an idiot. So that put me in a fowl mood and then the rest of the night was full of stupid people or drunk people. By the end of the night I was just so sick of people.

I wont go into the boring details of how much trouble it was to get home. Take Care all.

BYE SARAH *HUGS*

Another Day [May. 7th, 2004|06:49 pm]
[mood |calmcalm]
[music |3 Doors Down - Away From the Sun]

Well it's another day. Today I just slept in and watch Pirates of the Caribbean after that I had dinner with my dad and went and had a shower and headed off to work.

Work was kinda busy I only had a couple of trains to look after which is good cause they get boring real quick.
When I got back into town my workmate and I went patrolling round the CBD. We got told there was a little blonde girl who cut her wrists in the middle of Manners Mall. There was blood on a few phone book pages ripped out that were blowing around the street. So we went looking for her. We did find her in the end and spent about 30 mins trying to deal with her and her drunk aggressive panicing friend. In the end we got the police to come and pick them up and take them home and asses their injuries. Don't worry the girl had no chance of bleeding to death or anything.

As well that night we dealt with and old racist man who had nothing better to do than stir up trouble and a drunken women who assaulted a doorman at a popular bar in Wellington.

The rest of the night all 2 hours of it passed without incident and I was glad to get home and go to sleep.

Birthdays... [May. 6th, 2004|10:30 pm]
[mood |cynicalcynical]
[music |Survivor - Eye of The Tiger]

Birthdays aye.. Arn't they just everyones favorite day of the year ?

I can't think of any other day of the year where I feel so unloved and painfully reminded by the world that no matter how much we kid ourselves money really can't buy you happiness.

I really don't think there is any other day that makes you think of all the regret and bad decisions you've made in your life. Except maybe Valentines day, But that might come down to personal preference.

Oh well either way it's all the same at the end of the day. "There ain't nothing like regret to remind you your alive".

I hope you all had a good day today.
As for me I've had enough of this day and will go to bed and wait for the next.
